Repair and Renovation:
- Applied as a waterproof coating in repair and renovation projects to enhance the durability of existing structures.
Application Procedure:
-
Surface Preparation:
- Clean the surface thoroughly to remove dust, dirt, grease, oil, and loose particles.
- Repair any cracks or damaged areas with appropriate repair materials.
- Wet the surface with clean water, but ensure it is free of standing water.
-
Mixing:
- Mix Component A (liquid polymer) and Component B (cementitious powder) in the recommended proportions.
- Use a mechanical stirrer to achieve a homogeneous and lump-free slurry.
-
Application:
- Apply the mixed slurry using a brush, roller, or spray in two coats.
- Apply the first coat and allow it to dry for 4-6 hours.
- Apply the second coat perpendicular to the first coat to ensure complete coverage.
- Ensure a minimum total dry film thickness as specified in the product datasheet.
-
Curing:
- Allow the final coat to cure for at least 7 days before exposure to water or heavy traffic.
- Protect the applied coating from rain and direct sunlight during the curing period.
BENEFITS
- Flexible coating that resists water ingress
- Strong adhesion to sunken slabs & masonry surfaces
- CFTRI certified – Potable Water Safe for kitchens & water tanks
COVERAGE
- Approximately 0.6 – 0.75 m2 / kg at 1 mm thickness in 2 coats, depending on the level of the substrate.
