Dr. Fixit Pidifin 2K is a two-component acrylic cementitious waterproof coating used for various applications in construction. It provides a protective, flexible, and seamless waterproof layer on concrete and masonry surfaces.

Uses and Applications:

1. Waterproofing of Roofs:

   • Used for waterproofing flat and sloped roofs, providing a durable and weather-resistant barrier.

2. Waterproofing of Terraces and Balconies:

   • Provides a waterproof coating for terraces and balconies, protecting them from water penetration and leaks.

3. Waterproofing of Bathrooms and Kitchens:

   • Used for waterproofing wet areas such as bathrooms, kitchens, and wash areas to prevent water seepage.

4. Waterproofing of Basements and Retaining Walls:

   • Ideal for waterproofing basements, retaining walls, and other below-ground structures to prevent water ingress.

5. Waterproofing of Water Tanks and Swimming Pools:

   • Provides a waterproof lining for water storage tanks and swimming pools, ensuring they remain leak-free.

6. Protection of Concrete Structures:

   • Used to protect concrete structures like bridges, tunnels, and podiums from water damage and carbonation.

7. Repair and Renovation:

   • Applied as a waterproof coating in repair and renovation projects to enhance the durability of existing structures.

Application Procedure:

1. Surface Preparation:

   • Clean the surface thoroughly to remove dust, dirt, grease, oil, and loose particles.
   • Repair any cracks or damaged areas with appropriate repair materials.
   • Wet the surface with clean water, but ensure it is free of standing water.

2. Mixing:

   • Mix Component A (liquid polymer) and Component B (cementitious powder) in the recommended proportions.
   • Use a mechanical stirrer to achieve a homogeneous and lump-free slurry.

3. Application:

   • Apply the mixed slurry using a brush, roller, or spray in two coats.
   • Apply the first coat and allow it to dry for 4-6 hours.
   • Apply the second coat perpendicular to the first coat to ensure complete coverage.
   • Ensure a minimum total dry film thickness as specified in the product datasheet.

4. Curing:

   • Allow the final coat to cure for at least 7 days before exposure to water or heavy traffic.
   • Protect the applied coating from rain and direct sunlight during the curing period.
